Starting January 2025, the price for each of three Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD and CKS) will see an increase.
Here is what the official announcement says.
Due to the increase in certification exam administration costs, Linux Foundation Education and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) have made the decision to increase the price of their standard certifications by approximately 10 percent.
New Pricing (Effective January 2025)
Following would be the pricing for CKA, CKAD and CKS from January 2025
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA): $435 (from $395)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD): $435 (from $295)
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS): $435 (from $395)
